GPR Mappingis subsurface imaging that literally looks underground to develop a picture profile of what lays below the surface. We use GPR to determine the location of unmarked graves, burial vaults and headstones, as well as locating lost or available grave space, markers that have been moved andverifying casket positioning.
For cemeteries with missing or destroyed burial records, a GPR survey can produce a composite site map of an area that would indicate grave locations as well as position and depth.
Using Ground Penetrating Radar, TOPOGRAPHIX® can investigate and map sub-surface areas for vault and foundation locations, buried pipes and pipe route, and underground utility and cables and can measure the depth to water tables. Pricing - GPR Survey is calculated on a per-day basis and can cover approximately two hundred (200) graves based on the terrain and soil content. We offer GPR surveys as a standalone service or in combined with TOPOGRAPHIX® on-site mapping services.
The images you see below show the location of three graves with no markers. The site photograph shows the scanned area and the two GPR images show the depth and position of the three burial vaults that were located
